Have you invited too many people around at Christmas, and have no idea how to feed them all? Are you resorting to paper plates? How about Afternoon Tea as a delicious treat for Boxing Day - or why not serve cocktails from tea cups on New Years Eve? Try something different and unexpected, and your guests will be sure to remember you as the perfect host/hostess! Picture the scene... Bing Crosby and Dean Martin crooning softly in the back ground as you serve freshly made mince pies onto bone china tea plates - it will look fabulous, but with just a little effort, meaning you can relax and enjoy your party too! The little details make the difference to a successful party - sprinkle some icing sugar over your mince pies, or place some holly leaves in between your serving dishes, choose coloured napkins to tie your theme together. Minimal cost, minimal effort, big impact. If party planning isn't your thing, or you dread the slog around the supermarket, for only £15 per head we can provide you with delicious homemade food, and a fabulous selection of vintage and mis-match crockery. Please do get in touch if you'd like more details, but be quick - Christmas is fast approaching! Dianne 07740 866976 Extremely elegant, this genuine, vintage dress is waiting for the perfect bride.
The dress measures 48" in length, measured from the shoulder seam to the hem. The waist measures 28-29", and the chest 34-35" so I believe it to be somewhere around size 8 to 10. There are one or two very feint marks on the dress (due to age), but you only see them if you really look closely - I'm sure if you had it dry cleaned, they may come out, but due to the beautiful fabric, I gave this a gentle hand wash. There is also a small hole in the top layer of the dress (on the lower section of the skirt), that can be repaired - but it is not visible unless you examine the dress extremely close up. Honestly, I would wear this dress without hesitation. The dress is made of two layers: the 'under layer' is a light fabric, with small press studs at the side (on the waist) to close. The top layer is a beautiful light fabric, with delicate raised flowers all over, and a zip to close (again, on the waist). The two layers are completely separate. There are no labels, it may well be hand made, but either way you can be sure you won't see a dress like this in a high street wedding shop - perfect for the bride who wants to show her individuality. This dress is priced at £40, and I have given the description to be as fair as possible. If you would like to buy this dress, please email chicncheerful@yahoo.co.uk |
