Mr K and I have just come back from a wonderful break: we travelled through Dartmooor, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, in Rusty.
It is lovely to see smiles from people as Rusty cruises by, or to see people standing around having a good look, when we leave him in a car park.
One often favourite places was Lyme Regis, with beautiful shops, a great beach and amazing fossils. As we walked along the beach we came across a shop PACKED with vintage crockery - it was agony walking away and not buying anything... We could have filled Rusty full of beautiful plates, cups and tea pots.
Instead, I managed to squeeze in some crochet time, and enjoyed looking at the amazing cakes on offer in many little cafes along the way. Great to see so much home baking.
