Rusty is a split screen camper van, built in Germany, on 27th October, 1965. He promptly left for sunnier climates, and was exported to Los Angeles. We believe Rusty came to England in 2000, and he joined our family in 2009.
His original colour scheme was Sea Blue with a Cumulus White roof - somewhere along the line he has also been grey, and gold. His current colour is red-orange, making him a real head turner.

How Rusty looked when we bought him...
Questions we are most often asked include:
"Do you use it?" - we most definitely do, having been to Spa in Belgium, a road trip around France, and several trips to Dorset and Cornwall.
"Can you sleep in it?" - absolutely, and we often do. The interior was carefully designed to hide everything away, including a cooker, and everything else we need.
"Is it on air?" - no. Rusty is not on an air-ride system, he is 'static' and is always low to the ground.
Rusty in the Spotlight
Rusty has won a number of trophies, had a magazine feature in Volksworld, and now he has the honour of transporting Brides, and Grooms on their wedding day - it's a good job he's photogenic :)
Rusty's Interior
We created a custom interior for Rusty, to keep everything hidden away. Rusty is pretty unique, so we had to create an interior to match. The cupboards are covered with pages from Marvel graphic novels, featuring The Avengers.
