Chic'n'Cheerful are proud to support Young Epilepsy, and have been involved in a number of fundraising events, including the donation of a hamper, and of course... plenty of bake sales! I've even been to their amazing campus in Lingfield, where there is a residential school and world class research facilities - I did some gardening/ground clearance around one of the residential properties, as part of a group activity, and it was great to be able to make a contribution with an immediate impact.
So with today being Purple Day, you guessed it, I've been busy baking. I'm excited to see how much money my cakes will make for the charity (the offering includes Lemon Drizzle, Dr May's fruit cake, chocolate muffins, and some 'old school' chocolate rice crispy cakes)
I really would encourage you to check out Young Epilepsy - I don't know anyone with epilepsy, but I have really been blown away by what a difference this charity makes to the lives of young people (and their families).
