Recently we had an email, asking if we'd like to come and sell our cakes and delicious treats at the Turners Cider Harvest Music Festival.
We had a dilemma... it was on the same day as Brighton Breeze, the biggest, best and last VW show of the season.
Decision made, local cider had our hearts, so the festival it was!
I baked my little socks off, and we took a selection of homemade cakes and muffins. Our stand reflected our style, with a lovely selection of vintage and mismatched china, bunting, and Rusty parked next to us, looking handsome with his sunflower garland. Apples from Turners orchards, and sunflowers decorated our table.
Our pitch was in the best position, and Rusty was pretty much the first thing you saw as you walked through the beautiful wooden archway. The sun shone down on us.
We danced, smiled and chatted our way through the afternoon, watching the sun go down, and then enjoyed serving cakes by the glow of fairy lights through the evening :-)
We met some great people: traders, performers, customers, and of course Phil and May Turner. We're looking forward to next year!
